Our team is expanding, and we are currently seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to join our dynamic team at the Seybold Building in Miami.
Position Summary:
The Armed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all tenants, visitors, and staff at the Seybold Building. This role demands a highly vigilant, responsible, and detail-oriented individual capable of responding to all security challenges with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the property, including all facilities and perimeters.
Monitor surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
Control traffic by directing drivers and managing parking arrangements.
Respond to emergencies and incidents within the premises promptly and effectively.
Ensure the security of all entry and exit points.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Prepare reports on incidents, and maintain daily activity logs.
Perform risk assessments and security evaluations of the premises.
Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid armed security officer license and certification.
Proven experience as an armed security officer, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response, and operational procedures.
Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to act with integrity and professionalism at all times.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security or law enforcement is a plus.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physically fit to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
