JOB SUMMARY
The Security Guard position is responsible for providing game-day security services at Citizens Bank Park. This is a customer facing position that requires a high level of customer service, while maintaining the safety and security of our ballpark for our guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure strict adherence to Citizens Bank Park’s Policies and Procedures including Prohibited Items List and the Guest Code of Conduct
Provide excellent customer service to all guests that attend events.
Assist with guest screenings and conduct bag inspections if necessary.
Monitor and manage crowds in seating sections and queuing lines.
Assist in ejections of unruly guests.
Document all incidents and report them to your supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have great attention to detail.
Must be able to work autonomously and with a team at all levels of the organization and with a diverse work force.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, for ballpark games and other events. Consideration given for personal commitments and other work obligations.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong teamwork attitude.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of an FBI fingerprint clearance and a criminal background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
Constant standing for extended periods of time lasting a minimum of 5 hours per event.
Frequent walking to monitor sections, which may involve ascending/descending stairs and walking up inclines and/or uneven surfaces.
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work in varying outdoor weather conditions for extended periods of time (cold, heat, rain, etc.)
