Ankabut, part of Khalifa University is a leader in the region for information technology transformation, data center services, software define cloud, application, network, and cyber security. Ankabut co-creates the services needed with clients through the latest software-defined data center for infrastructure as a service to complete virtual data center and high-performance computing.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design, pricing, and delivery of Ankabut’s technology and EdTech solutions. Ensure seamless execution of new services and projects while managing technical pre-sales, product development, and architecture teams.
Service Development: Lead the design and development of new services, including AI-powered tools, Smart Campus solutions, cloud infrastructure, and digital experience platform. Work closely with market feedback and sales insights to prioritize service offerings.
Pre-Sales and Architecture: Oversee technical pre-sales, solution architecture, and bid management processes to support sales teams. Ensure proposed solutions align with customer requirements and business goals.
Pricing and Product Management: Develop competitive pricing models for new and existing services. Lead product lifecycle management to drive innovation and service relevance.
Service Delivery: Manage the delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely execution, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. Lead technical project managers to oversee service implementation across clients.
Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation across architecture, pre-sales, product development, and bidding teams.
Innovation and Research: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, especially AI, data analytics, and cloud innovations, to improve service delivery and value.
Collaboration: Work with partners like AWS, Microsoft Azure, G42, and OpenAI to enhance solution capabilities and service execution.
Operational Efficiency: Develop frameworks, SLAs, and governance models to ensure operational excellence.
Team Structure Under the Role includes Solution Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales, Pricing Team, Product Management and Development, Bid Management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in service development and delivery roles, preferably in technology, cloud services, or EdTech sectors.
Proven expertise in product management, pre-sales, and large-scale project delivery. Proficiency in architectural frameworks, API integration platforms and related technologies.
Deep understanding of cloud solutions, data analytics, AI/ML, and managed services. Understanding of Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Containerization and Orchestration, Cloud platforms.
Strong leadership of multi-disciplinary technical teams.
Experience in designing pricing models and RFP processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
