Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular inspections of premises and facilities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Control access to the property by checking identification and issuing visitor passes.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV for monitoring activities on-site.
Also required to climb steps, walk 2 hours at a time and lift 25-30 pounds occasionally,
Skills
Valid Guard Card is not required, but preferred.
Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation.
Ability to recognize potential threats and take appropriate preventive measures.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately.
High School Diploma or GED required.
