Job Title: Security Officer II at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
Position Summary: As a Security Officer II at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safeguarding of all company assets and the well-being of guests and team members. This role demands strict adherence to Security Department policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute designated security tasks to protect company assets and maintain the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Enforce age restrictions by verifying the identification of patrons to prevent access to individuals under the age of 21.
Address patron inquiries and complaints with the option to escalate issues to a Security Supervisor when necessary.
Contribute to the implementation of emergency protocols.
Generate accurate reports and witness statements in accordance with company protocols.
Carry out any additional duties as directed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or its equivalent.
Preference for candidates with prior experience in a casino or hotel security role.
Strong English speaking verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage effectively with both team members and guests.
Proven track record of being a cooperative team player.
Commitment to completing the pre-employment process successfully.
Capability to obtain and sustain all mandatory licenses required for the role.
Flexibility to work variable shifts, including holidays.
Certifications:
Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with the gaming license.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently
Physical fitness to engage in activities such as walking, running, standing, kneeling, and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift.
