Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security protocols are followed.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a security officer or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Physical fitness to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly in emergencies.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
