Position Overview:

Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Domestic Counter-terrorism Strategy and Policy Analyst. In this role, you will provide technical support to the office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Hemispheric Affairs (ASD HDHA) and the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (DASD NCWMD).

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Provide policy analysis and propose recommendations on combatting terrorism domestically, including efforts countering terrorist travel, counter-terrorism information sharing with Federal partners, Department of Defense (DOD) support to watch-listing and screening, and interagency efforts related to countering violent extremism domestically.

Support DoD senior leader participation in National Security Council (NSC) meetings (NSCs, Principals Committee, Deputies Committee, Policy Coordination Committee, Counter-terrorism Security Group, and subordinate meetings) by developing and coordinating read-ahead materials, position papers, in-person briefings, and meeting notes as appropriate.

Identify opportunities for and advise on the integration of DoD domestic CT priorities into intelligence community planning and prioritization.

Maintain electronic and hardcopy files on critical documents related to domestic counter terrorism strategy and policy.

Required Qualifications:

8 years’ progressive experience in Counter-terrorism programs or policy or strategy.

TS (SCI eligible) clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

10 years’ related experience.
