Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management. The Security Officer will be expected to respond to incidents, monitor CCTV systems, and enforce safety protocols effectively.
Duties
Monitor premises through regular patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety compliance.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks and protect assets.
Manage conflicts with professionalism, employing de-escalation techniques when required.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Skills
Proficient in loss prevention techniques and surveillance operations.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Certified in First Aid and CPR; additional certifications are a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems and security protocols.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
