Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barback to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
– Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
– Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
– Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age
– Handle cash and credit transactions using a POS system
– Assist in food preparation and help with catering events as needed
Skills:
– Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
– Proficiency in food preparation techniques
– Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
– Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Familiarity with catering services is a plus
