Job Summary:
Patrol and enforce laws, detect and prevent crimes, and ensure the safety and welfare of faculty, staff, students, visitors, and property within the district’s jurisdiction. Reports to the District Department of Public Safety.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (minimum)
Preferred:
Associate’s degree and two years of experience as a licensed peace officer
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid driver’s license and insurability
Peace officer license by TCOLE or recent TCOLE reactivation
Basic Peace Officer certification preferred
Motor Vehicle Report, background check, and drug screen required.
