About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join an embedded intelligence team within a client’s global security function, with a focus on the tobacco sector. In this role, you will assist the client in making crucial decisions about the safety and security of staff, assets, and operations in the APAC region. Your primary focus will be on geopolitical and security affairs, including politics, security, the economy, and business, particularly in South and Southeast Asia.

You will be responsible for assessing both short and long-term threats, vulnerabilities, and business impacts related to geopolitical developments. You will also support the implementation of security risk mitigation measures, producing intelligence products and briefings, and engaging with stakeholders to address and support their intelligence needs.

This is afully remote role working

Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm . There may be an occasional need to work out-of-hours during emergencies and time-sensitive matters.

Responsibilities Monitor open-source and vendor intelligence feeds to assess geopolitical events in the APAC region that could impact the client’s workforce and business operations

Develop, deliver and refine a range of intelligence products to deliver proactive and in-depth analysis, and actionable insight, to internal stakeholders, including periodic reports and bespoke products

Brief stakeholders on key developments, trends and context

Refine intelligence requirements and deliverables by networking with regional and country security teams, to identify any intelligence gaps and support the growth of the intelligence function within the client’s company

Work closely with data analysis counterparts to translate internal data collection into analysis

Work closely with other functions to support the delivery of analysis and actionable insight, including supply chain security, travel security, emergency response and crisis management
