Entry Level Security Technician Apprentice Jobs in Nashville, TN at Herring Technology & Defense
This is for an overnight position. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday 12:00am-8:30am. We are only accepting candidates that can work these hours.
Responsibilities:
– Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Protect property and assets by implementing security protocols and procedures
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
– Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security breaches, in a timely manner
– Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and complete detailed reports
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
– D- License Required
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques
– Familiarity with security protocols and procedures
– Certification in security training or related field is preferred
– Strong observation skills and attention to detail
– Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficient in using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
