Your Opportunity:
Taymark,a Taylor Company, is looking for anEquipment Operatorto operate a Zund Cutter, HP Wide Format or EFI Inkjet printer in our White Bear Lake, MN location.
Your Responsibilities:
Reviews printing work orders for special instructions
Ensures that production deadlines are met
Prints and collates finished pages
Ensures quality standards of printed products
Reviews cutting work orders for special instructions
Cuts and boxes finished work orders
Ensures quality standards of cut products
Cleans, services, adjusts, and makes routine equipment repairs
Maintains records of production output
Ensure required resources are available in order to complete job (cut files)
Evaluate output and make adjustments to obtain a desired level of cut quality or image quality
Respond appropriately to fault, error, and alert messages
Contact and interface with customer support as necessary
Monitor and report environmental changed that may impact equipment performance (humidity & temperature)
Ensure proper paper handling, conditioning, and loading
Your Shift: 1st Shift8:00am – 4:30pm; Monday – Friday
You Must Have:
Previous printing or prepress experience preferred
Basic mechanical abilities and motor skills
Experience operating high volume, networked systems
Desktop applications preferred
High degree of math skills and attention to detail
Mechanical ability
Good reading ability
We Would Also Prefer:
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Must have ability to work with very close tolerances
Ability to effectively communicate with team members
Analytical skills
Good color discernment
