Full Job Description:
As a member of the security staff, your responsibility is to provide direct physical security to staff, patrons, and festival assets, while promoting a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Unarmed Security Guard Responsibilities:
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of the premises
– Check bags for food and color bags (color festival)
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Provide assistance and support to staff and visitors as needed
– Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Active Guard Card Certification (within 6 months of start date – California only)
Previous security/door staff experience desired
This is a one time gig, must be available Saturday, March 30 from 12pm-5pm
