Job Description
We are hiring security guards for all shifts. Weekly pay, with rates between $18.50 and $21/hr, depending on experience and licensing. Positions are available at venues throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas, offering scheduling flexibility. The role involves checking bags, enforcing access control, and ensuring guest and venue safety while providing excellent customer service.
Essential Duties:
Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
Manage venue entry, including scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic.
Screen guests during entry using bag searches, metal detectors, and .
Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring security breaches at key points.
Respond promptly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when necessary.
Understand and follow venue policies, procedures, and regulations.
Create a positive guest experience at entrances and other locations.
Provide helpful directions and suggestions to enhance guest entertainment.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
State/local licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
