This role is an opportunity to drive sales of integrated security and low voltage technology solutions within the commercial construction industry. The Commercial Construction Sales Executive will develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, building owners, engineers, and architects, focusing on delivering tailored solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and technology integration in commercial projects.
This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of the construction process, experience selling security systems, low voltage, and technology solutions, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles from design through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of integrated security and low voltage technology solutions to building owners, general contractors, electrical contractors, engineers, and architects.
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the commercial construction industry.
Create and execute a strategic sales plan focused on pipeline growth, account development, and revenue targets.
Lead design and construction discussions, providing technical expertise and influencing project decisions.
Prepare competitive, high-quality bids, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses while negotiating successful deals.
Track opportunities, pipeline stages, and project milestones using CRM and sales tools.
Collaborate with product partners, subcontractors, engineers, project managers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Communicate project vision and sales strategy to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (bachelors degree preferred).
Minimum of five years of sales experience, with at least three years in the integrated security systems or low voltage technology industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, including experience working with general contractors and building owners.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a history of annual bookings exceeding $2 million.
Experience developing complex project solutions, estimates, and proposals.
Familiarity with major security systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, and Avigilon.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of enterprise network architecture and experience recommending networked security solutions.
Familiarity with low voltage systems, including AV, emergency DAS, nurse call systems, and telecom applications.
Work Environment & Requirements
Primary work environment is office-based, with 30-40% travel to client sites.
Must meet background check and client site access requirements.
Compliance with customer-mandated health screenings, vaccinations, and drug/alcohol screenings as needed.

Base salary: $85,000 – $120,000, based on experience
