Position

Description:

TheExecutive Protection Security Specialistwill act as part of a team dedicated to the protection of Goodyear’s Senior Leaders and other dignitaries. In this role you will frequently engage with Goodyear’s CEO andSenior LeadershipTeam to ensure their safety during travel, transportation, business engagements, meetings, and special events. You will work to collect, analyze, and disseminate protective intelligence to inform risk mitigation efforts and prepare comprehensive security operations plans for all senior leader-related travel or events.

Additionally, this role requires a high level offlexibility, both with the work schedule and the ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice. We are seeking a self-motivated, professional, and courteous individual that is focused on providing the highest quality of service to ourleadershipteam.

Responsibilities:

Assist in efforts to minimize risk to theleadershipteam and associates traveling to high-risk locations. Research/Investigate locations to determine threat environment and potential risk to all company assets. Conduct threat assessments and site surveys.

Responsible for obtaining, analyzing, producing, and disseminating open-source intelligence on all levels, and provide threat assessments on existing and/or emerging threats on a global scale. Proactively respond to events or situations that may impact safety/security of all Goodyear associates, facilities, and other interests.

Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential security threats to the organization.

Responsible for planning and executing the safe and secure transportation of high-profile individuals, including executives and dignitaries.

Contribute to one or more of the following special operations functions: conduct technical countermeasures sweeps, review/inspection suspicious mail/packages (including use of X-Ray), and manage secure or encrypted communications.

Required Experience and

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to corporate security or in lieu of degree 7 or more years of relevant experience.

2 or more years of experience in Executive Security. Preferably experience in concepts such as protective intelligence, secure transportation, contingency planning, and counter surveillance.

Experience in international and domestic travel desired.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of executive protection techniques, planning, and strategies.

Proven work history demonstrating self-motivation, ability to work without direct supervision, and understanding security concepts and theories.

Knowledge of physical security systems including intrusion detection systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and other security related software/hardware.

Ability to function and use sound judgement in high profile situations to include oral and writtencommunication skillsand haveproblem-solving skillsto handle and prioritize executive’s requests and other duties.

Exceptional organizational, time management, andproblem-solving skills.

Possess basic computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office products.

Possess technical driving skills commensurate with defensive driving executive protection techniques.

Must possess or be able to obtain a permit to carry a concealed firearm.
