Job Description
As a Security Officer – Logistics Patrol in NEWARK, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .
As a Patrol Officer in the logistics and distribution location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be key in maintaining a secure environment, while also providing exceptional customer service and communication. This unarmed position requires you to be agile and reliable, embodying our values of teamwork and integrity. Your role will involve routine patrols and being a visible presence to support a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri09:00 PM – 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Help to deter unauthorized access and activities by maintaining a visible presence.
Assist in monitoring and controlling access to the premises, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities observed during patrols.
Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance overall protection measures.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 1 year of security experience.
CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
