Our client is looking for a experienced Facilities Security Manager with Security Management experiences to be responsible for 2 plants.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Establish and implement Site Security SOP and Policies to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with company rules and regulations.

Promote security awareness program to instil a security culture and ensure a secure work environment.

Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Provide briefing and guidance ensure outsourced security team always perform their duties effectively according to company security policy to meet the service agreement KPI.

Coordinate with external security agencies, law enforcement and government agencies to address security threats and incidents.

Provide a monthly comprehensive report/update for management related review.

Fully support internal Investigation for any security related non-compliance incident. Prepare investigation report to update the management. Including lodge police report if necessary, if there are cases related to loss of company’s properties or injury to site personnel.

Preparation of Investigations Report as well as evidence for Domestic Inquiry (DI) related cases.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Address stakeholders concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

Support Facilities and Operations Team on contractor Management to ensure all contractors comply with VAT EHS/Security protocol and requirement.

Perform/Involved internal/external Audit/Risk Assessment

Conduct security standards briefing during new hire orientation.

Required to work in various areas throughout the building/site.

Continuous improvement in security process and systems to ensure VAT keep abreast with industry best practices and to support internal stakeholder needs.

Minimum Qualification:

Degree/Diploma in Security Operation, Management.

Minimum 10 years working experience in managing a security team in a factory environment.

Good report writing/communications skills and can work well under pressure.

Experience with RBA requirement and managing the External Audit.

Preferred Qualification:

Ability to multitask and working in a fast pace’s environment.

Demonstrate Initiative, innovation, and willing to learn and make important decisions.

Able to develop, implement and follow through in planning operations/training.

Quick and accurate decision maker and takes responsibility for all decisions made.

Experience with engaging government related agencies.

Flexible and able to work effectively within organisations with little or no direct supervision.

Good in coordinating and motivating direct reports.

Good teamwork and interaction with stakeholders.

Good record of setting up security processes, procedures, execution, and management in a multi-plant environment.

Availability to respond to escalation including security alerts outside of business hours.
