Job Overview
BUILT Brands is the manufacturer of one of the fastest-growing, nutritious and delicious, protein snacks on the market today–the BUILT Puff and we are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Facilities Security Monitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises by actively monitoring activities through surveillance systems and maintaining a visible presence. This role is critical in preventing loss and managing conflicts, making it essential for candidates to possess strong observational skills and a proactive approach to safety. This is a non-armed position and requires wearing a company-provided uniform.
Duties
Monitor surveillance cameras and observe activities within designated areas to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations, and notify appropriate personnel.
Direct and manage parking areas to support smooth operations.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Provide assistance in loss prevention strategies and implement security protocols effectively.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
1+ year of prior building security experience preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
Strong conflict management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) capability is highly preferred.

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
