Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Night Security role to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of property and individuals.
Responsibilities
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
Utilize CCVT systems for surveillance and monitoring of premises.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Manage conflict situations effectively, employing conflict management techniques as needed.
Document incidents, maintain logs, and prepare reports for management review.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, maintaining professional relationships with local authorities.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
Experience
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
Strong conflict management skills are essential for effectively handling various situations.
Candidates with military experience may find their skills particularly relevant in this role.
