Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by enforcing laws and regulations, monitoring premises, and responding to incidents effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to security and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism and composure.
Duties
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor CCTV systems and respond appropriately to any alerts or incidents.
Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
Engage in conflict management to resolve disputes and maintain order.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and property.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for documentation purposes.
Skills
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
Valid security certificate or relevant training in armed security practices.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
First aid certification, including CPR training, is preferred.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
