Thornton Heights Terrace is a specialized mental health rehabilitation facility serving adults with a severe mental illness. We are currently looking for a FINANCIAL MANAGER to be our liaison with the Social Security Administration. This person is primarily responsible for ensuring that resident’s funding sources are verified prior to admission, notifying Managed Care Organizations of resident admission and obtaining necessary authorizations, completing the re-authorization processes as needed, applying for or re-certifying Social Security benefits, and maintaining records of resident payment history, any outstanding balances, and payment plans.
ALL APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION MUST HAVE:
-A MINIMUM OF A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED ALTHOUGH AN ASSOCIATES OR BACHELORS DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR RELATED FIELD IS PREFERRED
-EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
-STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS, INCLUDING EXCEL, WITH THE ABILITY TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN SPREADSHEETS
-BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF INTERVENTIONS THAT ENHANCE THE PSYCHO-SOCIAL WELL-BEING OF OUR RESIDENTS
The position is part time. Hours can be flexible for weekday day hours.

Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour
