Job Overview: California Fire Detection is a leading provider of fire alarm and safety solutions, committed to delivering top-quality services to ensure the safety and security of commercial and industrial properties. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Access Control Technician to join our team and assist in maintaining and securing critical data related to fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain data access control systems for fire alarm safety solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve any access-related issues or system malfunctions
Ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of data by implementing appropriate access control protocols.
Coordinate with other departments (such as Fire Safety Engineering) to ensure seamless integration of data security systems.
Assist with system upgrades, updates, and patches to ensure continued compliance and security.
Provide customer support related to data access control for fire alarm systems, answering inquiries and resolving concerns.
Develop and maintain documentation related to data access control procedures, configurations, and security protocols.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations, such as NFPA standards and data privacy laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience with data access control systems and security measures.
Experience with Verkada software a plus, but not required
Familiarity with fire alarm systems and safety regulations is a plus.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex system issues.
Experience working with fire alarm safety companies or similar industries is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold security best practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
