Must-haves
Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
Three or more years of experience.
Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
Working knowledge to full understanding of local/national codes.
Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening.
Comfortable in a driving role.
Own tools and work materials; inventory for installations and service is supplied by the client.
NICET 1 & NICET 2 Certifications.

Day-to-Day
As a security systems technician, your responsibilities include installing commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems. You’ll also need to proctor, coach, and teach others, provide high-quality customer support, conduct customer instruction on system operation, perform system testing and signal verification, and maintain necessary inventory. Additionally, you’ll organize technical resources, monitor task progress, and ensure timely completion of all required activities and documentation.
