Fire and Security Engineer – The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer with expertise in Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Systems. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and maintain security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and fire systems.
• Conduct inspections, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure systems operate effectively.
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure seamlesssystem integration.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations, codes, and best practices related to security and fire systems.
Fire and Security Engineer – What we need from you
Experience &
Skills Required:
• Previous experience as a Security Engineer is essential.
• Strong understanding of security and fire system installation and maintenance.
• Excellentproblem-solving skillsand the ability to troubleshoot system faults.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellentcommunication skillsto effectively liaise with team members and clients.
• Good time management skills and a proactive approach to work.
Requirements:
• Time-served Security Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.
