Position: Fire & Security Installation Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, servicing planned and reactive maintenance contracts, together with new installation work, involves daily travel nationwide, with rare overnight stays.
Candidate requirements:
– qualified to NVQ Level 3 Fire emergency and security systems or equivalent.
– qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent.
– 5 years min experience incl. adhering to British, NSI (NACOSS), and BAFE standards.
– valid ECS Card, IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential.
– working at heights.
– full UK driving licence.
– clean disclosure – vetting to BS7858 standard.
– able work within Health and Safety regulations.
– be flexible with regarding to working hours, willingness to travel with rare stays away.
Experience required:
– knowledge of, and training in, fire protection systems
– knowledge of, and training in, security systems including Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch, Hikvision (desirable).
– track record of installation, commissioning and repair of intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio and door entry systems; including service visits.
– proven delivery across the project life cycle to manage scope of works, drawings, installations, test and commissioning, and client handover.
– ability to produce high quality commissioning and handover documentation to meet quality and
client satisfaction
