Position Overview
The Operations Director will oversee and manage Nation Security’s security operations in the Orlando area, ensuring the safety and security of our clients, personnel, and assets. This role is instrumental in upholding the company’s standards for excellence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize security operations across North Florida.
– Lead and manage a team of security professionals, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, and ongoing development.
– Collaborate with clients to understand specific security needs and customize solutions.
– Establish and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and key stakeholders.
– Assess and monitor security risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
– Oversee the application of security protocols and procedures to ensure strict compliance.
– Provide timely and detailed reports to senior management regarding security operations, incidents, and emerging trends.
– Stay informed on industry advancements and best practices to continuously enhance our service offerings.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Minimum of 5 years of progressive private security experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-centered approach.
– Comprehensive knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
– Proficiency with security technologies and related software.
– Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are an asset.
– Familiarity with the regulatory environment and local laws governing security operations in Florida.
