Title: Senior Security & Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist
Position Overview
JMark is seeking a Senior Security & Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist to provide expert analytical support to the Counterintelligence, Law Enforcement & Security (CL&S) Directorate. This role is pivotal in shaping and enforcing national and DoD policies that integrate robust classification management, program protection, and advanced Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) practices. Based in Arlington, VA (Pentagon), the successful candidate will enhance security frameworks by ensuring that SCRM principles are embedded throughout all program protection initiatives.
Job Responsibilities and Success Factors
Policy Development & Integration
Lead the development and implementation of national and DoD policies, guidelines, and training that seamlessly incorporate classification management, program protection, and SCRM best practices.
Oversee comprehensive reviews of security protocols and SCRM strategies approximately three times per year, ensuring alignment with emerging threats and supply chain vulnerabilities.
Security & SCRM Assessments
Facilitate and conduct in-depth security and supply chain risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within critical programs.
Recommend and refine security classification guidance and Program Protection Plans—with a strong emphasis on mitigating supply chain risks—approximately twice per year.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as R&E, A&S, the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency, and the Joint Staff (J28).
Ensure cohesive integration of DoD program protection initiatives with SCRM, Counterintelligence, and overall information security policies across multiple federal entities.
SCRM-Driven Security Enhancement
Champion initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience by aligning security practices with state-of-the-art SCRM standards and emerging risk management trends.
Drive the continuous improvement of program protection measures to safeguard critical infrastructure and information assets throughout the entire supply chain lifecycle.
Education and Minimum Qualifications
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Ten (10) years of demonstrated expertise in national and DoD security policies, with a strong foundation in information security and SCRM practices.
At least five (5) years addressing national-level information security challenges affecting both DoD and non-DoD entities.
At least (5) years of policy development experience, including drafting, formatting, tracking, and integrating inputs into DoD Directives, Instructions, and other security publications.
Five (5) years of experience developing, updating, and coordinating policy documents, action memos, congressional responses, briefings, and oversight visits—emphasizing the integration of SCRM principles.
Five (5) years of hands-on security policy or operational experience, including roles as a staff action officer on an OSD, JCS, or Military Department headquarters staff.
