All gate attendants will make sure that any merchandise leaving the yard is paid for.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields in a plus
Familiarity with a lumberyard is a plus
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail
Be at least 18 years of age

Duties
Monitor premises through surveillance systems and on-site presence to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any potential hazards or security breaches.
Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement if required.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
Collaborate with team members to enhance overall safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; candidates with relevant certifications will be prioritized.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus, providing valuable skills in surveillance and conflict management.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and attentive at all times.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with staff and visitors.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
