Gate Roving Security Supervisor Jobs in Newport, OR at Servexo USA

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gate Roving Security Supervisor to ensure that the Gate Guards are performing their duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors.

DUTIES

Ensure that the Gate Guards are performing their duties to the standards set forth in the service contract and as dictated by the Project Manager or NOAA command staff.
Review Guards SOR’s and incident reports for accuracy and to identify any issues at the facility.
Inspect access control and parking pass logs to ensure they are filled out correctly. Ensure Gate Guard’s uniform appearance is neat and professional.
Issue verbal corrections on Guards’ deficiencies in job performance or appearance, if that fails to solve the issue refer the matter to the project manager for further corrective action. Be available by phone 24/7 to answer questions and offer guidance to the Guards on duty.
Assist the Project Manager in identifying shortcomings or needed improvements in service then planning and implementing corrective action when needed.
Create Google documents and or spread sheets at the request of the PM.
Assume the duties of Project Manager in the event of the PM’s absence.
Compile performance/access control data by updating the spread sheets and files in the shared google drive. 
The following items should be updated daily or once data is available: Daily check point scan PDFs from the servexo.staffr.com web portal, SOR’s and Incident reports from the guard computer, what parking pass were issued, what visitor passes were issues, updating the weekly Long-Term Parking Audit, entering weather station data into the wxcoder.org web portal weekly.
Have the ability to utilize the Victor Client camera system to review footage and create clips to be exported and added to the Guard computer and uploaded to the shared google drive.
Possess an expert level of knowledge on all aspects of the duties of a Gate Guard and be able to train current and future employees on those duties. This includes the Victor Client camera system and the Ccure access control system.

The Supervisor provides first line oversight and management of the Security Gate Officers. The Supervisor is responsible for overall direction and guidance of the services provided by the Security Officers including, but not limited to:

Post One: Main Gate Sentry/Roving Ground

Main Gate Sentry/Roving Ground is to man the Main Gate Guard Shelter during weekday normal working hours.
Main Gate Sentry/Roving Ground is to be manned during weekday after hours and weekend/ holiday hours.
If Post Two is manned at Ship One, then Post One will assume the duties of Post Two as both Main Gate Sentry/Roving Ground.
If Posts Two, Three, Four, Five, or Six are manned at the ships, Post One will become the primary contact point and will coordinate their roving patrol so that it does not coincide with any other post until they have completed their hourly round aboard the ship. Each post will make a radio check prior to making a round and on completion with Post One. While Posts Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six are on their hourly rounds Post One will maintain active surveillance of the pier with the facility cameras at the Main Gate Guard Shelter until all Posts have returned.

Post Two: Roving Ground/Ship Patrol (No Ships or One (1) Ship Alongside)

Roving Ground/Ship Patrol is to be manned when no ships are alongside or if there is one (1) ship alongside MOC-P during weekday after hours and weekend/ holiday hours.
If there are no ships at the pier Post Two will assume the duties of a Roving Ground. If there is one ship moored at the pier Post Two assumes the duties of a Ship Patrol on Ship One and Post One will assume the duties as both Main Gate Sentry/Roving Ground.
Post Two will take the ship patrol watch from Ship One for weekday after hours and weekend/ holiday hours. Post Two will not cover ship patrol for Ship One during weekday normal working hours unless a National Holiday, as designated by law and observed by the Federal Government, falls on a weekday.
If Post Two is manned at the ship, Post One will become the primary point of contact and will coordinate their roving patrol so that is does not coincide with any other post until they have completed their hourly round aboard the ship. Post Two will make a radio check prior to making a round and on completion. While Post Two is on their hourly round Post One will maintain active surveillance of the pier with the facility cameras at the Main Gate Guard Shelter until all posts have returned.

Post Three: Roving Ground/Ship Patrol (Two (2) Ships Alongside)

Roving Ground/Ship Patrol is to be manned for ships alongside MOC-P during weekday after hours and weekend/ holiday hours.
Post Three will take the ship patrol watch from the Ship Two for weekday after hours and weekend/ holiday hours. Post Three will not cover ship patrol for Ship Two during weekday normal working hours unless a National Holiday, as designated by law and observed by the Federal Government, falls on a weekday.
If Post Three is manned, Post One will become the primary contact point and will coordinate their roving patrol so that it does not coincide with any other post until they have completed their hourly round aboard the ship. Post Three will make a radio check prior to making a round and on completion. While Post Three is on their hourly round Post One will maintain active surveillance of the pier with the facility cameras at the Main Gate Guard Shelter until all Posts have returned.

Post Four will take the ship patrol watch from the Ship Three for weekdays after hours and weekend/ holiday hours. Post Four will not cover ship patrol for Ship Three during weekday normal working hours unless a National Holiday, as designated by law and observed by the Federal Government, falls on a weekday.
If Post Four is manned, Post One will become the primary contact point and will coordinate their roving patrol so that is does not coincide with any other post until they have completed their hourly round aboard the ship. Post Five will not cover ship patrol for Ship Four during weekday normal working hours unless a National Holiday, as designated by law and observed by the Federal Government, falls on a weekday.
If Post Five is manned, Post One will become the primary contact point and will coordinate their roving patrol so that is does not coincide with any other post until they have completed their hourly round aboard the ship. If Post Six is manned, Post One will become the primary contact point and will coordinate their roving patrol so that it does not coincide with any other post until they have completed their hourly round aboard the ship.
