At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We’re growing our team here in SANTA CLARA, CA:
Compensation: $31.00 / HR
Shift: (A) Saturday – Wednesday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. (B) 10:00pm – 6:30am
About the job:
The individual will work in a GSOC environment monitoring several screens
The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Investigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as needed
Conduct investigations using numerous applications to confirm or deny any accusations or events reported to the Global Security Team
Have the ability to multitask under stressful or intense circumstances
Support the GSOC Manager in the completion of necessary tasks
Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
You provide rapid response in critical situations.
You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
Your background:
You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
Must have at minimum at least one year of GSOC operator experience
Must have an active DL and be able to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR)
Must have valid CPR certification (can be obtained during the hiring process)
You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
