Job Summary
Responsible for providing outstanding, friendly, and informative guest service while maintaining safety throughout the property. Works to ensure maximum guest safety at all times while periodically patrolling assigned areas.
Essential Job Functions
Practice, support, and promote the Company Service Standards at all times.
Adhere to all company service and operating standards, ensuring direct reports follow all policies.
Assist the Supervisor in daily activities: training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving complaints.
Maintain a professional departmental, company, and community presence.
Answer guest questions professionally, reflecting understanding of the department and property.
Protect company assets against theft, assault, fire, and safety issues.
Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
Escalate emergency situations to the Assistant Director and Director as needed.
Assist the Security Manager with shift administration, including incident reports, logs, statistics, and documentation.
Qualifications
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with guests, team members, and management.
Knowledge of and compliance with all company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, policies, and procedures.
Ability to multitask and work any day, shift, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Minimum age of 21 years and ability to obtain required work cards.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED required.
Complete property academy as assigned.
Physical, Mental, and
Work Environment
Ability to kneel, carry, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Work may be in hot, cold, noisy environments, possibly containing secondhand smoke, with the ability to see color.
Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Constant contact with team members and guests.
