TITLE: Security AM
REPORTS TO: General Manager, Corporate Security Manager
FLSA CLASS: Hourly Non-exempt

The job duties described below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of this position. All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

Description of the Position:
The primary responsibility is to help oversee all operations of the property under the guidance of the Manager and General Manager. This position will also be expected to perform the non-management Security duties for the property and to insure overall safety for customers and employees. Duties include but are not limited to, supervising and training of Security Staff, providing customer service, maintaining the facility, and facilitating communications amongst all security personnel and staff. The AM must be available to problem solve, must enforce, and document any violation of company policy and effectively communicate with the management team, help maintain all radios, flashlights, and other security equipment and devices. Security AM is required to respond to any safety issues that arise. Being a Security AM can be hard physical work and requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment. A Security AM must also have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Each employee will be expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to Management in a timely manager. All McMenamin employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events, history, and products. Other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.

Requirements of the Job:

Obtain and maintain current DPPST Security certification
Obtain and maintain current OLCC certification
Obtain and maintain current First Aid/CPR certification
Previous related experience preferred
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, swing shift, graveyard, weekends, holidays, and special events required

Be on your feet for long periods of time including walking, climbing stairs, patrolling the building and grounds; indoors and outdoors
Work around cigarette and cigar smoke
Work outside in varied weather conditions
Safely lift and carry heavy objects with a hand truck or the help of another person if necessary
