Opal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position ofSecurity Guard for our Roggen, CO Farmlocation. This position is responsible for patrolling premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist the production manager with other projects and duties as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
Assure that only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility and sign the logbook.
Report suspicious person/information to supervisor immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Know premises thoroughly.
Answer phones courteously, promptly and accurately and transfer messages to proper parties.
Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to supervisor as soon as possible.
Complete duties in prescribed time.
Follow all safety, security, exposure control and hazardous waste policies and procedures. Understand fire drill and security procedures, promptly contacting proper authorities, utilizing sound judgment.
Requirements:(knowledge, experience, skills, education)
Must be able to read and write in English
Must be able to work the assigned shift
Must be able to pass a background check.
Have a reliable means of transportation to and from work
Must be able to sit for long periods of time

12 hour shift, 6pm to 6am
Holidays, Weekends
Sunday to Saturday
Night shift
4/3 schedule, every other Monday
