Hybrid Working: 3 days per week on site.
Working as part of a global IT leadership team, the Head of Cyber Security will be responsible for all aspects of Cyber and Information Security across my clients IT infrastructure.
The Head of Cyber Security will establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business and take effective leadership of a diverse team of technology professionals dispersed globally.
Responsibilities
Direct the development, implementation, delivery and support of an enterprise information security strategy aligned with the business strategy.
Ensure compliance between business strategies and information security.
Lead the provision of information security expertise, guidance and systems needed to execute strategic and operational plans.
Engage with and influence business stakeholders to ensure that services are developed and managed to meet agreed service levels
Maintain the cyber security framework, providing ongoing analysis of emerging threats, risks and control gaps.
Define and steer the Cyber Security programme to implement technical security solutions and controls aligned to industry best practice and the emerging threat landscape.
Required Skills/Experience
Strong management experience working to support the development and direction of both directly employed and third party employed IT security professionals.
Proven experience of working with IT security systems and information security governance, ie, control frameworks, incident management, operations and application of security best-practices.
Experience of security engineering, in support of technologies and controls such as Network and Application Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, Vulnerability Scanners, Microsoft Active Directory services, Security Service Edge (SSE), Endpoint Protection and Encryption technologies.
Technical certifications such as CISM, CISSP.
