A Well Established Financial Services firm with a strong presence in APAC. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Cyber Security to join our well-established financial services company. The ideal candidate will be technically hands-on and come from a Banking / Financial Services Background with a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and technologies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the company’s sensitive information and systems
Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of security measures and protocols
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends in the financial services industry
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
15+ years of working experience in Technology, with at least 10 + years in cybersecurity, preferably in a banking environment/ Financial Services / Insurance
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and regulations
Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
