Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Information Security at Cognisys. The Head of Information Security will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery of our GRC Team, including information security, cyber security, data privacy, and business continuity. The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as developing and implementing security policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role is located in Leeds with the flexibility for remote work.
Job Type: Full-time.
Remuniration: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year.
Qualifications
Information Security Management, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy skills
Experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning
Strong knowledge of information security principles and best practices
Experience in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability management
Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
