as a Head of Security/ Government Relations . This role requires a versatile professional who will be responsible for safeguarding company assets and managing government relations. The ideal candidate will have experience in security management, government liaison, and public relations, ensuring the company’s security,

regulatory compliance

, and public image are effectively maintained.

Key Responsibilities

:

Security Management :

Oversee and ensure a secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. Implement security protocols, access control systems, and emergency response procedures. Work with external security providers, law enforcement, and other agencies when necessary. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures tailored to retail and hospitality environments. Monitor and manage security systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.

Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. Investigate security breaches, thefts, and other incidents, maintaining detailed reports and logs. Lead the emergency response team during crises and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents.  Government Relations :

Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and local government authorities (e.g., Dubai Police, DED, Civil Defense, Immigration). Track and advise on regulatory changes that may affect business operations. Represent the company in meetings, hearings, inspections, and other government-related engagements. Navigate regulatory requirements for the company’s retail and hospitality operations, ensuring full compliance. Address and resolve any legal or compliance-related concerns with government entities.

Stakeholder Engagement:  Build and maintain positive relationships with key government and regulatory bodies. Stay informed of regulatory changes and advise management on potential impacts. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance and smooth operations.  Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in security management and government relations. In-depth knowledge of security protocols and government regulations. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proven ability to manage crises and navigate high-pressure situations effectively.  Skills :

Additional Requirements:

Flexibility
