Responsibilities
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential health and safety hazards.
Monitor and track compliance with health and safety regulations through data analysis and report generation.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Develop and deliver training programs for employees on health and safety best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of health and safety standards.
Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to health and safety.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, quality control, or related field.
Certification in health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety or quality control role.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
