Job Description
Establish, maintain, and ensure that procedures and programs within the industry standards and Legal requirements which includes policies, training, communications and documentation.
Conduct and prepare content for HSSE related training to build competencies which includes Visitors orientation, new employee training, On-site MHE, incident management, and other training as identified in training needs analysis.
Perform workshops, focus groups discussions, coaching sessions, and campaigns as required to implement HSSE programs
Conduct risk assessments on Warehouse (WH) processes, equipment controls and environment impact analysis jointly with other departments and monitor compliance to the identified controls.
Engage and collaborate with other WH local teams, other Shopee entities and Regional Sea teams to formulate and implement programs towards building a risk aware culture.
Act as in-house Security officer and assist daily Security operations in order to achieve the highest standard of WH security practices.
Assess daily performance of the Security Personnel including Detachment Commander and gives direct order and recommendation when necessary.
Immediately respond to HSSE incidents and immediately inform WH Management the details of the incident not later than 24 hours from the time of Incident.
Analyze HSSE performance dashboards and plan to mitigate high risk areas with professionalism and courtesy.
Secure necessary permits for WH but not limited to Business permit, fire safety clearance, and other HSSE relevant permits.
Perform other duties related to work as directed and authorize by the Management.
Requirements
Certified Qualified Safety Officer 3-4 (BOSH Training, 8 Hour Mandatory OSH Training, LCM)
Certified Pollution Control Officer
Relevant graduate qualifications with minimum 4-5 years of experience in HSE controls
Good written and verbal communication skills, people skills, and an ability to work under pressure within deadlines as required
Have a sense of urgency, proactiveness, and good problem-solving skills to provide quick and efficient responses to near misses, accidents, and emergencies.
Amenable to be assigned in Laguna
Willing to travel
