Full Job Description
Securitas Security is currently hiring a Healthcare Security Site Supervisor in Ottumwa!
As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will respond to alarms, emergency requests, and use exceptional verbal de-escalation skills when needed. You always maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information.
1-2 years previous Security and Supervisor/Leadership experience is preferred!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in all areas of the required job duties. Attends required training, education, and recertification’s in order to maintain the highest level of professional standards.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff entering the hospital
Identifies, reports and documents safety hazards and handles such irregularities as assigned by Supervisor in a manner prescribed by hospital and department policy.
Perform security checks, patrol facility, and monitor special assignments
Conduct incident investigations and provide documentation for follow-up
Respond to and assist in all incidents regarding safety and security
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone.
Must have a reliable means of transportation.
Must hold or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license or equivalent.
Must have the legal right and security license to work in the country where the position is located.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.
Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
