Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team to help us with a difficult site in Marysville that we are passionate about. Please DO NOT submit an application unless you feel you can handle a tough site. You do not need to be physically tough, but mentally tough. We work heavily with transitional housing organizations, and this particular site is for helping women with a variety of different obstacles in their life, have a safe place to live and raise their children. We are looking for two guards who want to give back to the community, help create a safe living environment, and give these families a chance at life.
Position will be observing and reporting any persons committing suspicious or illegal behavior, or anything else that you feel is unsafe. We fight back with our eyes and words. These are all 12hr from early evening to early morning, 7days a week. I am losing a guard to the Sheriffs Department and need to find a like minded individual who is up for the challenge..
Looking for 2 responsible and reliable Guards. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable and friendly to all, arrive early to prepare for the shift. De-escalation experience a plus. Access control and inspect the grounds throughout the shift. Report to Operations Manager at beginning and ending of every shift. Daily activity report (DAR) is written throughout the shift and consists of every incident, suspicious activity, or anything else you think the property manager should know.

Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility

Monitor surveillance cameras
Report in detail, on daily activities and any security incidents
Qualifications
Guard Card
CPR certified
Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
High school diploma/GED
Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
Ability to operate surveillance equipment
High level of integrity and professionalism
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
