Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include surveillance, loss prevention, conflict management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
– Conduct thorough bag checks and inspections as required
– Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, or any unusual activities
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and first aid/CPR if needed
– Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
– Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred
– 3 years of security experience at a high rise or similar environment.
– Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
– Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
– Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally
– First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
– Familiarity with CCTV systems is a plus
