Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises through CCTV systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as they arise.
Responsibilities
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities in designated areas.
Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, or any unusual occurrences for management review.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security risks.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is beneficial.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is an asset.
