Quest National Security provides Armed and Unarmed security services throughout Southern California. We serve both residential and commercial clients with VehicleFoot Patrols, primarily unarmed
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Armed Area Field Supervisor to oversee operations in the Oxnard, CA and the West Valley region.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and coordinate 6-10 security posts and approximately 25-50 guards.
Conduct ongoing field inspections and site visits.
Actively stand post 2 to 3 8-hour shifts per week.
Respond to incidents, cover call outs, emergencies, and client needs.
Enforce company policy and ensure BSIS/state compliance.
Recruit, train, and mentor new officers; conduct performance evaluations.
Manage schedules, timesheets, and payroll entries.
Maintain ongoing communication with administration and clients.
Handle daily activity and incident reports.
Conduct on-site staff enrichment, training events, and meetings.
Monitor and maintain uniforms, patrol equipment, and inventory.
Prepare updates and reporting for administration.
Utilize software for scheduling, NFC scans, timekeeping, and documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years Armed Security experience + Supervisor experience
Valid CA BSIS Guard CardExposed Firearm Permit (required)
Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for company patrol vehicle use)
Ability and willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius of assigned areas
Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
Tech-savvy with experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Guard Center, Deputy, PandaDoc, and NFC-based patrol apps
Proficiency in digital scheduling, timesheet review, and incident documentation
Highly organized, methodical, and calm under pressure
Physically capable of standing/walking for extended periods
Maintain a flexible availability / on-call availability as needed
Strong de-escalation / CPI hands-on knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
Military or law enforcement background
CPR/First Aid Certified
SB1626 Certified (School Security)
Bilingual: English/Spanish

Rate: $27-$28.50
