Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, properties, and personnel. This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Duties
Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security breaches.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct thorough inspections of premises and property to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
Document all incidents accurately in reports for record-keeping purposes.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Qualifications
Valid armed security guard license or certificate as required by state regulations.
Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or loss prevention is preferred.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using surveillance technology, including CCTV systems.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
