Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Armed Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in security operations, with a focus on maintaining safety and security in various environments. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention, ensuring the protection of personnel and property.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to ensure the safety of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve situations effectively.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, ensuring proper documentation of incidents.
Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential confrontations.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Requirements
Valid armed security certification; Law Enforcement or military background preferred.
Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus but is not required; additional training in conflict management is a plus.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public along with the ability to write detailed and descriptive reports.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
