We are looking for a tough, straightforward supervisor who can MANAGE people, handle all post situations, maintain a good working relationship with our client/s and, overall, be someone who can take responsibility, take direct constructive critism and channel that into an efficient and effective guard work force.
Looking for a Site Supervisor for our company’s South Texas operations, based mostly in Houston Port Area and in Corpus Christi.
Our company site supervisors are essentially the “eyes and ears” of our operations. You are essentially your own manager and will charged with an existing guard crew.
Security Assistant Supervisor responsibilities include but not limited to:
Scheduling of your assigned FIXED POST 24/7 sites
Ensuring ALL client contracted hours are always met
Assisting with after-hours calls/emergenciesOffice work as needed
Covering posts/shifts as needed
Managing employee overtime and reducing it to a minimum
Reviewing and Approving ALL employee timesheets via company timesheet clock in/out program – Humanity.
Reviewing and approving (via your signature) all Daily Activity Reports (DARs) are completed by every employee after every shift
Vetting/Interviewing/Hiring and Training of new employees
Performing Site Inspections/Visit on all employees at the various Posts
Evaluating employee job performance
Ensuring posts/sites have all necessary materials/items needed
Enforcing all company policies regarding:
Mandatory Monthly training
Restricted Area Security standards
Drug Testing / Adherence
Disciplining employees who do not follow company policies by:
Verbally discussing policy violation with employee
Documenting policy violation in Company HR program – Bamboo
Meeting with our client representatives and forging a positive working relationship with them
Monthly meetings / lunches are encouraged to maintain customer relations
40 hours per week with some Post work might be required if needed to fill in to ensure contracted hours are met.
Requirement Must Haves:
Current TX Guard License
Current Driver’s License
Current TWIC card or willing to apply for one within 7 days from hire date. (Website: tsa.gov)
Must pass a background check and drug test
Minimum of GED or High School Diploma along with previous experience of a minimum of 2 years in the field.
Experience with computers/internet
Microsoft Office experience
APPLICANT MUST COMPLETE ONBOARDING AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING WITHIN 72 HOURS OF HIRE DATE.
