Job Summary:
This Industrial Security Specialist will be supporting the personnel security team by interpreting DoD policies, guidance, and procedures in coordination with the company policies to ensure compliance of a large-cleared employee base. Core of the job entails indoctrinations for DoD accesses, debriefs, citizenship verifications, personnel clearance processing, visit request submittals, adverse/reportable submittals, and all actions to support the cradle-to-grave upkeep of personnel clearances. Additional duties include assisting in identifying security risks and implementing efficient and effective solutions.
This is an entry-level professional contributor salaried position that will report to the Local Site Security (LSS) Manager for day-to-day duties. This position will be on site in McKinney, Tx.

Basic Qualifications:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance within 1 year of date of hire is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and up to 2 years prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic working knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other relevant DoD security guidance.
Experience working in an environment requiring minimal supervision.
Basic working knowledge of personnel security administration activities (citizenship verification, DoD security briefings, SF-312s, and personnel clearance justification forms).
Basic knowledge on processing personnel for security clearances.
Basic knowledge of the U.S. Government’s Defense Industrial Security System (DISS).

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD – 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
